Good to know when renting in Belgium
The minimum age for a SIXT rental in Belgium is 21 with a driver’s license held for at least 2 years. A young driver surcharge applies to renters under 25.
You will need a valid driver’s license, plus an ID or passport, for a SIXT rental in Belgium. If your license is in a non-Roman alphabet like Arabic or Cyrillic, you will also need an international driving permit.
Travel to other countries is based on your selected car category. This is based on three zones, and specialty and higher-end rentals are only allowed in countries falling in zone 1.
